BAOHONG : WATERCOLOR PAPER TRIAL PAD

Was a gift for a new painter, good option to try out different papers.

What a great little pad with watercolor paper in three weights! Perfect size to carry everywhere in my bag.

Loved this sketchbook. It's been fun to test out my watercolor on several types of paper in the same book. Definitely helped with deciding what paper I liked best.

As usual, exactly what I need and delivered very quickly! I still want to keep buying 1 a month…but I might need to stop telling everyone what I’m doing with these brilliant little sample books! Along with introducing new people to Baohong papers..great for swatch books, practice and portable sketch books. I’ll post a picture later about how I swatch-dividing my paints among the different types of paper according to paint attributes! (Granulating goes on rough…although I had to add a few pages. I have too many granulating paints ;)
I’ll add a photo of my finished one next month when I get another one. I’ve taped & extra glued 2 of them together & have since made a (nicer) hard cover. My only issue isn’t with these wonderful sample books..Kim’s swatch stamp is just too small. Luckily, plenty of room left to play!
